Join Page Keeley for this session on supporting student thinking through formative assessment. Formative assessment helps teachers “uncover” student thinking- going beyond whether answers are right or wrong to gain insight into students’ problem-solving processes and possible misconceptions. Teachers can then leverage this insight to extend and strengthen students’ reasoning skills. This session is designed for science and mathematics teachers.
The February 5 session will be held at the Salem Civic Center. Or attend on February 6 at The Place in Richmond. Both sessions begin at 9:00 and end at 3:00.
